Some of you have asked us for the presets used in the TimeLine – Digital Delay Machine audio clips video, and at long last, here they are! The download links are at the bottom of this post. The video was made prior to the development of our Riverside Multistage Drive pedal, and a Damage Control Demonizer tube preamp pedal was used. Riverside emulates multistage tube circuitry, so we took our best shot at duplicating the preamp sounds from the video using Riverside. The Riverside settings are included below for each example. Settings were made using humbucker pickups, with the guitar’s tone and volume knobs at max. Neck position pickup used for all examples except for the Smoky Ethereal Repeats clip, where both neck and bridge were used.
Slapback Funk
Clean and Simple
Smoky Ethereal Repeats
Hi Passed Crunch
Repeats Dynamics
’90s Sparkle Delay
Ambient Drone

Using the Strymon Librarian or our Nixie preset editor? Download the presets and load them into your TimeLine.
What do you think?
Made your own tweaks to these presets? Post them below. Are there other preset types that you’d like to see in upcoming blog posts? Let us know what you think. Thanks!

Hi Thank you. It’s really worthfull.
Do you publish the other presets of all machines in the the Timeline as well ?
That would be really Fine. Do you? 🙂
Best, Tom
Hi Tom, Glad to hear this is helpful. For your question, are you asking about the factory presets? We have those here: https://www.strymon.net/timeline-factory-preset-settings/ If that wasn’t the question, let me know 😀 Thanks so much!
Angela ! The presets used on the audio video clips are different from the factory presets, and, yes, it would be very interesting to get all of them !
Awesome! Thanks for sharing these settings!
Hi Angela As Gilles said, i don’t mean the factory Settings. I’m interested about the preset files you use in the video/product documentation here on your web page. In best case for all, Timeline, BigSky, Möbius , etc. That would be really helpfull and great.
Best,
Tom
We will definitely try to get more of those done 🙂 Thanks!
How do you open downloaded presets in the Nixie program??
@Cameron Odom – You can drag and drop the preset files onto the UI image of the pedal in the Nixie software to load it to the currently selected preset on the pedal. Then, click the WRITE button in Nixie to store this into the pedal’s memory.
